Question Details: Alright so the deal is that I'm going out with a friend of say a month or two that im attracted to. We're really goofy and has he's seen me in sweats and even caught me in one the off days when i pulled an all nighter for a paper so I over course looked terrible. I'm not so nervous about the "date" (which is dinner and a movie) but I haven't been in one for a long time and I don't know what to wear. I was thinking of wearing a white/cream colored long sleeved shirt with a cowl neck, jeans, and boots. But yeah I kinda suck at impressing people and I dont know if that's good haha. so help! I'm open to all suggestions =]

If your into the leggings wearing a denim skirt with leggings or a black skirt with black leggings and flats would really look great for a first date. Any any top would go good with this outfit. For a little more casual look a nice pair of keds sneakers would go good with this outfit.

You should dress comfortable yet appropriate. I suggest wearing dark wash jeans, in a straight leg (not skinny), that looks classy and chic. On top wear a simple turquoise or coral colored tank top, with an embellished creme colored cardigan. Go easy with basic flats (in pretty much whichever color you have), and your favorite carry-all bag. Try colorful dangling earrings, stud earrings, or a simple chain and locket/pendant, depending on what suits your tastes. Wear easy and simple make-up that accents and highlights your best features, but isn't overdone. Throw your hair up in a chic ponytail, blow it out for a sleek look, or pin half of it back while it's wavy. I have two similar ideas. Heres #1. Wear dark blue metallic Jimmy Choo Boots and some Dark wash tight jeans. Then pull on a camel tank top! Ta- DA!
#2. Wear some clean white tennies, or if you have none wear brown boots. This time put some lightwash jeans on (skinny or tight w/e you call them) and a white hoodie that only goes 1/2 way down you chest/stomach area. Leave that sipped up only a little and wear a pink cami underneath. TA- DA! (again)

Wear the sweater and a skirt if you have one that matches. The jeans are fine, but you might want to look more polished. It depends on what region you live in. Jeans are fine everywhere, but pants of another material or a casual skirt are more sophisticated. You don't want to be overly sexy, he likes the real you.
He already likes you, so be confident and just have a good time.

Good for you for getting a date with this guy!:) I think it's totally great, he's already seen you at your worst so I think he would be totally amazed with anything you wear.
*If it's more casual wear that cream turtle neck like a soft cashmere sweater and a pair of jeans and a cute pear of slip ons or heals.
* If it's more dressy like a fancy restaraunt I would wear a cute wrap black dress, hair up in a cute hairstyle, and a fun colorful pair of heals( remember, every girls gotta have the little black dress!)

Depends on if the dinner is casual or up scale. What you described sounds nice and comfortable but if your going to a nicer restaurant you might want to dress it up a bit by not wearing the jeans. Ask him what the dress attire should be..that's a fair question and he should be fine with it.

Biggest problem today is the cloud we all put up to impress some one, then months later your in divorce court because you couldn't get along. I always refer to the movie "When Harry Meets Sally" Dress to be comfortable, if he doesn't take you as you are then -------. After I married my friend and she asks me that(what to wear). I always ask her to smile, and amazingly she looks great in everything she wears. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Relax, you look great.

well you should wear eather nice dressy pants or skirt with collor like a baby blue you can get come nice things from rave . with a nice button down shirt or a nice silk or cotton v neck shirt to make you look nice but not to flirty
