Raphael and Donatello are from the Renaissance, and they're men's names. (And, I'm sorry, but they ARE the names of two of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles--you have to be aware that people will think that.)
Dominique, Gabrielle, and Simone are French names which are still in use.
If you like the sound of French names, some others you might consider are Charlotte, Corinne, Ghislaine, Giselle, Madeleine, Mireille, Nicolette, Sabine, Seraphine, Solange, Vivienne, Yvette, and Yvonne.
If you just want old-fashioned names in general, saint's names were popular in the Middle Ages and Renaissance.

Tristana is a nice name, or Genevieve (like the girl from trading spaces) which the girl's nickname could be Gen... sounds like Jen but is different. Or Guinevere who was King Arthur's wife. Ophelia is also nice, that's from Hamlet.
