Some people tell me I look a little pale in winter, I'd like to remedy this, but being a straight guy I know little about skincare products. I'm not interested in tanning or fake tanning, just something to inconspicuously add a bit of glow to my face (like a pregnant woman type glow).

I was wondering the same thing myself. I, too, have pale skin. I just ordered a AHA face wash and a AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) cream from alphahydrox.com. I've never used them, so we'll see how it goes. I've heard that AHA helps to take away dull skin and it is recommended by dermatologists. These products aren't too expensive, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm going to add aloe vera gel as my moisturizer and sea breeze natural astringent as my toner (has BHA -beta hydroxy acid).

I've always wanted to get a glycolic peel at a spa. That might help, too.

Drinking lots of water daily, keeps the skin well hydrated. Smokers will have unhealthy looking skin & unhealthy hair as well. Skin is the largest organ of the human body & we need to keep it healthy & glowing, by eating healthy & not doing drugs. Staying out of the sun for long periods of time, will keep our skin looking healthy. Using skin lotions will keep our skin smooth & soft. When women use makeup, they need to use a good makeup remover, then cleanse the face well. Applying a moisturizer to the face, will keep it soft & well hydrated, especially at bedtime. Hands should be cared for daily. Wearing rubber gloves when having ones hands in hot water, when cleaning house etc., is a must. Harsh cleaning products can leave the hands red & rough looking.

I'd say the best thing is to wash your face with a good anti-bacterial soap, and then a mosturizer live Nivea or Ponds. Use the mosturizer sparingly. A little bit will do wonders. You'd be surprised.

Good luck!

Arbonne. You can go to arbonne.com to see what they have. I love their products for women and I've just got some for my husband. No, I don't sell it. I just like it.
