I currently am using Ultimate Bet and as far as my knowledge I have no ad-aware from using it. It has a lot of games, and you can even play for fake or real money, depending on if you feel your skilled enough to win the real money.
The other player's are on the whole nice people and aren't too often cussing at you for having a better hand, but just like in any occassion you get the few people who are like that. But on the whole it's a great free poker download, with several versions of poker that you can use, such as Omaha, Hold'Em, and can even play Blackjack and many other card games.
