believe it or not. talk.
i was quiet. very. not even psychologists or anyone could get me to talk. i was convinced by myself that i would never be able to do it. but i did it. not only did i just start talking i decided to do a speech in my last year of highschool and i delivered a great speech and was voted as student body president which was another thing i thought i was convinced i could not do. today i have conversations like nothing. i even gave speeches after that and everyone else had no idea how i was able to remove the fear of talking in front of large crowds because that was something they were afraid of and they had been talking all their life and then i made it look so simple.
i enjoyed sharing this story with you.

A backflip, water ski, hit a homerun in gym wiffle ball (the wall's so far back that it rarely happens due to air resistance), let go of the handle on a roller coaster and didn't fly off (I was 8), built a 3000+ piece lego set, played a 10 minute virtuoso on piano without messing up once...
...bought a nice car, held a 3.5+GPA, made out (and went out for 3 months) with that hot girl on the cheerleading squad, had a good summer internship.
The list goes on and on.

I was in Outward Bound and they have an exercise called Jacob's Ladder, which is twenty feet high, but only has about five rungs. I said, "I'm never going to get up that" but with the help of others, I did. It taught me the importance of teamwork, that there are some things I can't do alone, but I can do if I can get others to help. I also have a lot more confidence because of it!

Safed a woman from dying - she'd been stabbed and I found her. I've always thought I would freak out and not know what to do, in a situation like that, but I didn't - I simply did what I had to do to help her, and she survived. I guess I was lucky that she was still concious, so CPR wasn't nessecary, because back then I hadn't learnt to do that yet.
I now know CPR - I learned you never know when you might need it, and better to be safe than sorry.

I sailed to Miami, I rode a bicycle on the beach for 326 miles, I paddled a surfboard about 46 miles. I had been tod that I could not do any of those things. Now I am looking to do more.
