When your anti virus runs out, that means you are running McCaffee, or Norton. Uninstall the useless bastards and doen load AVG free, It will update every day, won't cost you a penny. The link is below.Dude, Kapersky sucks, it has it's own spyware included in it. Do not install Kapesrky!

It stops updating. It will probably ask you to renew or purchase a new license. Renew it or use any number of free options, the best being Active Virus Shield (Powered by Kaspersky), http://www.activevirusshield.com/antivirus/freeav/index.adp?
any search engine can dig up reviews of that for you.
Chances are the person who doesn't like Kaspersky had the spyware before it was installed. Because, I'm not having any problems with it, just about every review speaks highly of it but you should make your own judgement.

It stops updating. Better to activate the antivirus or download another standard antivirus immediately. I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

for most of the paid ones, you just stop getting updates, the scanner will still work, normally
