Finish it, they are beautiful cars, it would a shame to let it go. I drive a 147 and love it. It will give you a sense of achievement if you complete the restoration. I would love to see pics of your car when finished. Good luck.

Pretty good car. I presume you mean 1981-1993 models. If it's an 80s model, don't pay too much for it. $4,500---$6,500 should be more than enough for a nice clean one. you'll need to find an Alfa mechanic. Without it you're doomed. These cars aren't fast, either, so get used to being blown off by Honda Civics regularly. Weak points are weak synchronizers in the transmission, head gasket oil leaks at the back of the engine. Engines are injected by Bosch so are reliable. Buy the best one you can afford and give it regular maintenance and you'll be surprised how reliable these cars are. don't buy a rat! Cheap is not cheap enough!

finish the project, those cars are beautiful, my uncle has a 1985 alfa romeo spider quadrifolio, and he put more than double what the car costs into the restoration, but it looks beautiful, and he's glad he did it. Alfa Romeos are such nice cars, and you've gotten this far, just finish it up :)

Depends a lot on how much is left to do, and how much you still need to spend. There are a lot of half finished projects around, and you won't get a lot for it. A finished car, even to low standards, will get you a lot more. But you have to balance the amount of work and money you still have to put in.

You must not know about alfas........
You buy Alfas because you love them, not because you want to make money off them.....
I suggest you find an alfista, and just give it to them
