Reports say the deal is very close. Basically the D-Backs are telling the Yankees that the more money to take from Johnson's contract for this year, the more prospects they will get back.

It's all speculation, Josh Byrnes (the Arizona GM) isn't dumb enough to give up too much for Johnson, and the D-Backs are certainly not going to take on RJ's full contract. I doubt it's going to happen.
