There's no such thing as no accent at all. I don't feel that I have an accent, but if I traveled to, say, Alabama, I'd think that all the people there have accents, while they'd think that I do! Or if I learned to speak words from a different language, I'd have an accent, because I'm not used to speaking the language. But a lot of people prefer the exotic sound of an accent from someplace else, something other than what they're used to hearing. So for those, a foreign or exotic accent is sexier than their own accent.

Everyone has an accent, don't they? Depending on where you're from decides your accent. I don't think it's possible to not have an accent!
Or do you mean a mixed accent instead of a true accent? I don't suppose I have an accent as such - I certainly sound Scottish but I have never lived in the same place my whole life so I have a mixture of 3 areas so you probably wouldn't be able to tell exactly where I was from in Scotland just by listening to me. But you'll probably not find my voice sexy anyway so I ramble for no reason at all.

It really depends if you’re the kind of person who is finds it attractive or not. Then again it may also depend on who this person is. If he or she is really smoking hot then their accent makes them that much more attractive/ desirable. However if the person is not that great looking you may not even consider their accent to be attractive or desirable (not to be nasty or anything :)…and no I don’t have anything against ppl with accent...everyone has an accent depending on where you’re from and where you go).

So no I don’t think an accent makes someone sexier...I think their physcial attraction makes their accent sexier. Hope that makes sense. :)

We all have accents its just that we get used to the ones we come across every day. I live down South and personally can't think of anything better than a nice Northern accent

I used to think I preferred no accent, but a few years ago, a saleman from Georgia, USA called to sell me some magazines. **sigh** I'm from northern Canada and I've never heard anything like it! I didn't buy anything but I did chat with him as long as I could. I guess I found him charming based on his accent alone lol. But really if a person is truly sexy I don't think an accent will really help or hinder in any case.

babe I dont really understand this one, What difference does an accent make ? We have lots of regional accents in britain and they are all different. Some people find an accent very sexy, some struggle to understand them, does it really matter. I know a young woman from norway and she is having trouble with the english language but what she says sounds so beautiful. Dont worry we will understand you.

It completely depends on which accent. I mean an italian accent isnt that sexy to me. But a London one is. I like a mild accent. I mean you can't NOT have a accent. Thats the way your voice gos.

Depends on who you talk to.. and who has the accent. We all have accents, it just depends on who the listener is. When I lived on the east coast, they said I had an accent. I am from Ohio, and I thought they had an accent... so since we all have accents to someone to some degree.. I say we are all sexy haha

depends on the person "wearing" it... for instance, I'm not a native speaker of English, so when native speakers talk to me and they have a specific Scottish or African accent I can't always make out what they are saying. but I've once been in a situation where a native speaker of English had a very weird accent but was very sweet at the same time and so I found his accent extremely sexy because he had to repeat things to me a couple of times until I got them and I just loved listening to his voice... :)

Welsh
