No problem. If you want to go swimming the easiest way is to wear goggles. Goggles from Speedo [speedo.com] offer the best protection from leakage and I would highly recommend them. These days goggles are about $15 and come in very cool colors.

To keep your contacts from falling out when you're swimming just wear goggles. I also highly recommend Speedo goggles with Nike goggles coming in second. [Because you have contacts] look for something that seals tightly to your face. That way water can't come in and disturb your eyes and possibly cause you to lose a contact somehow. It also might be a good idea to look for the goggles that have a reduced "fog factor". If your goggles fog it's incredibly hard to see; you'll be tempted to take off your goggles to wipe away the fog which is always annoying.
If you are worried about the way the goggles look on you go with Speedo due to the various styles and colors. If you are looking for good quality there is a brand called Barracuda that has a special "suction seal" or something-er-other. I personally think they look bulky, and possibly uncomfortable.
I'm super sorry if this didn't help at all. I hope you find your answer!:)

Well get some goggles!! Or what you can do is get prescription goggles so you don't need any contacts. they will have these at a good scuba diving store. Or online. But I would just reccommend getting goggles. I am in water all the time with my contacts because I am a swim instructor. My eyes get really dired out after a while but thats because i dont have goggles on. But Goggles will help you out a lot.

I swim regularly with contacts in. I use Speedo goggles and they work fine at protecting my eyes. Also, I'm an open water swimmer (San Francisco Bay), so I am dealing with Bay water, which is a mixture of fresh and salt water, and I've never had a problem with it.
You can look into prescription goggles, which are probably pretty pricey, but the problem there is that once you get out of the water, you can't see when you take off the goggles. Good name-brand goggles will protect your contacts fine.

1. Keep wearing contact lenses and do remember to wear goggles. You should try goggles before you go to swimming. If goggles are not good, water will come into your eyes and flash your contact lenses. So the good goggles can protect your eyes from water.
2. Another way is to wear the goggles with specific power. They are available in prescriptions for Myopia (short-sightedness) in powers from -1.5 to -9.0

You either take them out and can't see, wear goggles, or keep your head above water and tell everyone else in the pool not to splash you.(although the last one usually ends with everyone splashing you anyways)

Either buy goggles (which keep water out of your eyes) or wear soft contact lenses (I wear those all the time because they don't come out for water polo).

I swim with my contacts in because mine are disposable, so i have extras. If you have hard contact lenses I recomend you don't. And as long as you close your eyes when you swim you should be fine

one of my friends bought some prescription google, but they broke really quickly. I'd say just wear googles or make sure people dont splash water into your eyes when you dont have them on. Swedish brand googles are the best. if your a competitive swimmer that is
