It think that if it's going to be cold then their should be snow. When there is no snow this time of the year everything outside looks depressing. Snow perks it up a bit, especially the day after the snow.
we don't have any snow here either -wisconsin-

Cold weather to me sucks if its gonna be cold might as well have snow. Snow is coming to the east from a storm out of the west maybe it will make it all the way to you.

I'd happily do without snow - maybe a little for Christmas Eve, and then back to none. Our winter storms have, on occasion, dumped 100 centimetres (over 3 feet) of snow on us and digging out is a pain, especially excavating the woodpile.

I want some snow at least. I wouldn't mind if it snowed a foot here. Snow is beautiful.

While I do like snow, I prefer not to have it all winter long. I also prefer the dryer type snow here in northern California, to the wet snow in other places.

Glad to see you back, now about your question: I like snow, but when I lived in D.C. we never got any until February or March, which sucked, but was kind of cool because my birthday's in March, so there's always a good chance of snow for my birthday.
