Any of the types will work. However they will run at the speed allowed by your motherboard, which is mos likely PC2100. So basically, just by whichever one is cheapest, they will all run at the same speed on your system. And don't buy from crucial.com, they grossly overcharge.

I like breaking down words to understand them better. Experience comes from three latin "components": Ex- perī -entia = Experientia (latin form of experience) Ex- is a prefix that means "out of" or "from" etc. perī is the verb base of "perīculum" (Peril), and in this case means trial or "try" -entia is the latin form of the suffix -ence, and basically it's purpose is to turn an adjective or a verb into a noun So the noun experience means that some one physically tried something. So living through the perils of life gives you experience, but the definition of experience does not include using your experience, nor remembering it. To be an experience the only requirement is to live through it, to try it. To clarify, if I stumbled on a rock outside, I have had the experience. But having that experience doesn't mean it won't happen to me again, because the definition of experience doesn't cover using it to make better decisions next time. Experienced people may still make the same mistakes over and over again, and perhaps they don't even remember that they have had that experience in the past. Memory comes from "memor" + the suffix "-y". Memor means "mindful" or "remembering" in latin, and the suffix "-y" is a suffix that means: "'characterized by or inclined to' the substance or action of the word or stem to which the suffix is attached". So memory can be literally defined as "characterized by being mindful or remembering". Memory allows you to "store" and later "recall" information. When you combine the ability to store experiences and recall them, it's more likely that experiences change the way you behave, but as mentioned before an experienced person may continue to "stumble on the same stone". Experience has nothing to do with storing and recalling, and memory does. That's about the best I way I can put it.
