You said:
I believe that many people saw the images of a disheveled looking Saddam after his capture and felt more sympathy for him then his victims because they could connect Saddam's face to suffering better then his victims.
I say:
Hear! Hear!
Corrupt sick f*cks deserve an end much worse than hanging...
But the lily-livered liberals say: oh noooo! ...don't execute anyone, we will solve this by doing X...
I've given up on the whole politics thing long ago...
People who cannot master even the basics of Mathematics (where one can establish in some way what a 'right' answer looks like) speak 'as if' they can master the much more complicated questions of politics...
Fortunately, it doesn't matter two crappos as we are all part of a kind of fascist state (liberals acknowledge this, complain about it & then hold seminars, paint murals & so on)...
Hooray for fascism! - that's what I say... it's what we deserve, lazy butt 'we'...

An act of desperation possibly or a assertion to place a element on Bush's board.the element is that the u . s . a . by no skill freed Iraq, in certainty by utilising invading it we made it worse, we've yet another inner conflict on our palms and the difficulty is that while we go away Iraq, they are going to be on their very own and don't be greatly surprised if Iraq turns into our ennemy on the long-term. Sadaam wasn't an extremely solid guy, besides the undeniable fact that he grow to be a wager to no-one different than the Iraqi human beings, consequently removing him grow to be pointless, plus his loss of life won't substitute something, Iraq would not have an carried out former-dictator on their palms, they have a martyr and people who supported him will combat much greater solid now. i assume in a twisted form of way, that's sensible, Bush desires to deliver greater troops and now he will have the side he desires to accomplish that. ultimately, if we actually wanted him to go through for the injustices he has committed, we could consistently have enable him stay and to rot in a mediocre cellular, whilst making beneficial he continues to be alive...that's the way you torture somebody.

I feel sick to my stomach over the whole thing. Saddam was a horrible wretched man, but I feel like we're stooping to his level in killing him. I think America should stand for higher moral principles than this. I don't think the world would have been worse off if we had just let him rot in jail, or let him be tried in the international court of justice in the Hague like that jerk Milosevic. Why not just go out & kill all the other tyrants & bada**es and warlords? What kind of world would we have? Would the killing EVER stop? This whole thing reminds me of Dodge City justice. I see the kind of thinking behind this and realize that yes, another type of Holocaust calamity could one day affect people like you and I.

That was beautifully put. I never felt sorry for that murderer. I don't care if he looked like my great grandpa. I bet if the same people who are against his punishment had their whole family slaughtered (immediate and remote) by Saddam, they would pay to put the noose around his neck.

There are plenty of other dictators in this world. Let's go after them. There are many in sub Sahara Africa that need to be hanged. They've killed millions. In Chad, Ivory Coast, Sudan, total about four million. And then there was the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, three million people killed there. In Chile, Pinochet killed plenty. In Bosnia, plenty were murdered there too. Let's kill them all. Or let's not get involved in other countries' problems. If we do get involved let's get involved in sub Sahara Africa, plenty of innocent people get slaughtered over there. It would be the right thing for us to do.

My thought is that Hussein has been executed by Bush and his puppets to show the world that cruelty is the way USA solve the problems in the world. It would have been very nice to see the president of the United States hanging for the crimes made in Japan with the Atomic Bomb.

get your fact straight, you have to admit that the timing was big mistake, you don' t have to like to hate Saddam, simply it is not about him, we all know what kind of a man he is, ask Ramsfield he knows him better, also Saddam like you said is responsible for the death of millions of people, sadly his trail was only for 150 people. what about other crimes that he committed against Iran when we the US were supplying him with all kinds of weapons.
