You do have to address the issue with the supervisor. Accusations at work can lead to missed promotions and raises as well as the job itself.

Do not focus on the "they are out to get me" part of this. Focus on what leads them to think that you might have done something. Address the accusations with the surpervisor in a calm manner. Getting upset and antognistic will not help your case. Clarifiy what it is that you were supposed to have done and then address it.

If someone else made the mistake and you are being blamed for it, then let the supervisor know who had the job and who made the mistake. You cannot afford to take a hit in today's job market as your raises and promotions will go down in flames.

Defend yourself aggressively. Get pissed & let them have it. I once was accused of something that I didn't do, and one eyewitness told the cop that yes he saw me do it, and then it was the strangest thing as other people joined in as eyewitnesses to claim that yes they too saw me do it -- it was a contagion. It was like mass delusion, a hysteria, and I'm the victim. Blew me away, this happened a long time ago. I was so mad I almost slugged the cop & almost got in big trouble. I couldn't believe what was happening to me. Veins were popping out of my head. So now, I have a tremendous respect for the legal profession & lawyers & the defense process. So when I hear people bashing the lawyers & complaining about the megasuits, I say go to he||, wait until you get falsely accused & witness for yourself the utter unreliability of witnesses (or wait for your lifesavings to be wiped out in a corp. fraud like Enron); then you'll learn to LOVE the legal profession. I'm getting myself so worked up here I want to go kick the bu** of your accuser!!! It's hard to match the weakness, the vulnerability, the helplessness, you'll feel when falsely accused. Few things are worse. I feel for you.

Why would you want to work there if they are accusing you of something you didn't do?
I wouldn't act any kind of specific way except pis*ed off, in the meantime... I would probably make them fire me.. and get unemployment. While searching for a new job.

Simply maintain your innocence and act normally. You have nothing to hide.
