USA didn't conduct the trial of Saddam Hussein, the US just held him in prison.
The Iraqi people conducted the trial of Saddam and found him guilty of crimes against Humanity.
The USA is the last remaining Super Power in the world, its not in USA's best interest to ratify the Internation Criminal court, because the US government especially now during their war on terrorism. The US doesn't want it hands tied when dealing with with suspected terrorists.

The treaty is not well made. It would allow people to be tried for such crimes AND allows for very one sided arguements. Consider how many people are anti-American. How do you think the trials would end? Also, the US did NOT try Saddam. Iraq tried Saddam. Look for the facts, not biased opinions.
