There seem to be a lot of inconsistencies in the stories, and some of the evidence for it having been an inside job is compelling, but the one thing that makes me really really doubt that there was government participation is that it would be WAY too hard to cover that up. All the people that would have had to cooperate and not one leak? We would have at least one person coming out saying they had documents or had been part of it, or it would have been tipped off before it could happen. You should read the book ''the looming tower'', it does a great job of explaining how backwards minded our FBI, CIA, NSA are about sharing information. The whole thing could have been stopped during its early planning if the CIA had told the FBI a) that there were known terrorists within US borders, and b) where they were. The FBI knew something was being planned, the CIA knew where the people planning it were, but they never shared the info. When the powers above the agencies finally told them to share whatever info they had, the FBI case manager who got the info from the CIA threw up. He saw that the CIA knew where these people were all along and simply didn't tell the FBI, and threw up.

NO and for the last time all of you 9/11 conspirestist need to get over it. you know there were people saying that the government was behind pearl harbor and wow they werent the japanese were well same thing just with the alcida. there isnt any video of the plane hitting because they wernt expecting it to happen. the world trade centers were taped because they were already being focused on.

The US government created Al Quaeda. Osama Bin Ladin was a CIS for years working with our CIA. You have generals admitting they created the entire organization on the History channel..but people still won't believe it.
