i no its a T.V show on abc family but is it a real place up near some mountains???

No...it's fictional. Downtown Everwood was in reality filmed in Ogden and South Salt Lake, Utah, and the series pilot was filmed in Calgary, Canada.

It is located to the south of Mammoth about 20-30 miles of it. My cousins are visiting up there this weekend.
