I'm thinking Jay Adams is the most original ... and Tony Alva the most influential simply coz he reached a wider audience :-)

The most influential from the past decade is Tony Hawk hands down. The most influential ever is probably Tony Alva. Some other influential skaters that are more recent would be Jamie Thomas from Zero, Bam Margera from Element(even though I don't like him, he has been a huge influence on the younger kids and alot of younger skaters have started skating because of him), and Rodney Mullens.
