I was also wondering about how much it would cost to rebuild it and if I could even find any parts for it that may need to be replaced. The guy who has it says it's all there just in pieces.

it wouldnt be an unreasonable price. restore this bike, and u'll have a show winner. it would be a classic bike for sure. mohavedesert has it right on the money. other's will be very envious of that bike after u get it back on the road...including some dealers.

Yeah, you have a good chance of winning. In fact you'll almost certainly win something. The question is how much you will win. I'd bet that with $1000 worth of tickets you should at least score $7 for getting three numbers. You may even win this way multiple times, and take home $28 on a $1000 investment. Happy gambling!

All Panhead parts are readily available. In fact most Harley parts, especially engine going back to the start of the 36 Knucklehead engine are out there and easy to get. Add a custom frame to this thing and can easily make this thing a very desirable and expensive bike. I can't see a problem with the price if title or registration is available on it and it is all there. If title or registration is not available from the seller deduct 300 bucks as that is the max it can cost you to get a clear title through some title services on a classic vehicle such as this. more info on that at http://its-titles.com Your state may even have special exceptions for such as this that might be even cheaper. Check out a Harley manual from the local library and go through all the engine parts and transmission stuff to make sure it is all there before you buy though.

Where is it? I'll give him a $1,000 for it in a heart beat. Offer him $900.00 an see if he'll sell it. You can still get parts for it. It would take some time and you'll probably have to replace worn out parts. I have a friend who works at a Harley Dealership and he asked where is it? It's worth it.
How much will it cost, depends on what needs to be replaced. Take your time and be patient. You'll have a Classic when your done and then you sell it the guy with 2 left nuts. Once your done you can sell it for more than you have put in it.

No way man, thats way too much to spend on a worn out pan. Half the parts are probably missing and the other half are used up no doubt. Plus you can`t find no parts for it any more. So save your coin for a nice new evo. By the way you forgot to mention who has this over priced piece of crap and how do I get in touch with them!

I would say around $800-$950. Sounds reasonable.
