Is this question ultimately about straight vegetable oil fueled vehicles? Which engine; W123 or W124 chassis? Absent this knowledge the model year will help a little and try a Mercedes service dept as the websites on 300D's seem to have every piece of info except fuel capacity.

My version was a 1986 300D and the tank held,as far as i remember 70 Liters.Newer models might have a bigger tank.
Hope i could help a bit.
Happy new year !

None, it's a Diesel. Of course you could look in the Owners manual and see how much fuel it carries

run itself out of gas. roll it to the Gas/diesel station. and see how much diesel the station pumps out for you for a full tank
