A wireless router is less than $50. If you want your laptop on it, and if your laptop already has a wireless card then you are all set, otherwise a wireless PCMCIA card (or internal miniPCI card, if supported) will be another $50 or so. For the XBox, if you want it wireless you'll need a wireless to ethernet bridge. This will plug into the ethernet port on your XBox and allow it to be on the wireless network. This is another $50, retail.

You can pick up good wireless routers on sale or with rebates for $20 - $40. If your laptop doesn't already have a wireless capability, your looking at another $30-$50 for a card for it.

I don't know if the x-box has a wireless capability but if not, you'll need something for it too.

the router itself and a few cords. a wireless g routerwill be about $50 and the x-box wireless adapter would be about $45 so pretty much around $100. then you have to pay for x-box live and if your laptop doesnt have a wireless card, that also
