I'm at the end of my pregnancy, almost 37 weeks. And I've been getting period cramps lately. They say that it means I will start labor within a week or so. Lets hope cause I want my little boy here with me and my husband!!

Yes - absolutely you can feel period pains. When my mother had my baby brother, she actually had her periods for 4 months. She hadn't had a period for several months before she got pregnant and thought she was going through menopause (she was 39). She was sick to her stomach all the time, and my dad thought she had an ulcer or something. When she told him she was pregnant, he was reading the comic section of the paper, and he looked over the paper and told her to quit joking around. About a week later, he asked her if she was really pregnant.
My youngest brother is a result of that "ulcer".
So yes -it can happen.

Yes, I had alittle bit of cramping now and then all the way through both of my pregnancy....especially during the time of the month that I would usually have my period. During your last few months of pregnancy, it's most likely your uterus getting ready for labor.

I *think* it is possible so if your period is late, take a test.
Good luck!
