should it be legalized or not? (meaning should people worldwide accept it or not?)
just saying yes or no is fine, i just want to know what the majority thinks. (and no, this is not going to influence my opinion)

Yes, though there should be other changes, too, such as properly medicating those in pain.
(When someone's dying, it's silly to worry about their possibly becoming addicted. The rules of pain management should take into account the person's situation.)
But the majority support a right to die, since most people are terrified of being stuck in a body that no longer works, gives them nothing but excruciating pain, and saps the money and energy of all of their loved ones.
Most people rightly want a choice.

Yes or no is not fine the question is if the person chose by free will to have this kind of death but here is something much deeper than we can imagine . also if the person is a beliver I dont think that this person will agree this . the problem here social and moral much more deeper is because this kind of will involve much more than a person involve I must to say a nation and the entire world .because only God can take away life and also give life.maybe we dont belive as we say that we belive in Him and also what is with tey who dont belive . some say that the word of god is already knowing by the whole world but what is when you say that you know His word!!!?

I totally believe in it. Just as you can't force someone to smile or be nice, neither can you moraly judge the miseries of their life and suffering or their desire to end their psychic, emotional, and/or physical suffering--i.e., force them to live, much less have a happy life. For some people, it's just not possible. Especially when they've lived at least to 30 and beyond and suffering and pain is all they've ever known regardless of its origin: Chemical imbalance in the brain, others who have been and are consistently beyond cruel to them all their lives, terminal illness, etc.
Overall, I think it should be discouraged, but banned or considered a moral crime, hell no!
My only restrictions:
*Don't do it publically.
*Don't leave a mess for others to clean up.
*Don't make it a "surprise" to others--inform them of your choice and why.(but not when or how bc that is, again, a very personal choice issue).
*Preferably DO NOT DO IT it when you have young children or teens to care for or raise.
*Do leave instructions on preferences for your services, etc.
*Do leave a will so no one will have to guess or fight over what to do with your stuff if you don't distribute it in advance yourself. .

It's hard to decide as it should be people's choice but if it was legalized could people not just abuse it? How could you truely know that it had been the deceased wishes and not and excuse for murder. It's awfully sad when people feel they are in that situation where they feel their is know other outcome but i think interventions should be made and more help offered to people with wishes of dying and it not seen as attention seeking. Take care.

Nah.
If everyone wanted to end their life at some point and we just handed it over to them, then we'd have a lot less people in the world, huh?
i say no to giving people an easy way out.

Yers. It should be legalised so people can opt for it if they really want to and have given it thought.
I personally feel its wrong and wouldn't involve myself in it, as I feel all life is sacred (and if you have a terminal illness should keep faith for a cure) but understand that many others would feel differently.

Yes! We should have a right to chose to do so, it is OUR life after all. This is another issue where I see religion influencing statutes. IT'S BS!

yes. I believe as an adult we should be able to choose how and when we die.. People who are not in severe pain do not understand how death would be a blessing to us.
