True Story. Many years ago, in Charleston, SC, and friend and I were closing down AC's, the latest closing bar in Chas.
In an attempt to run the last customers out, the music was turned off. I complained to Pete, who suggested I sing one of the songs I had lyrics to (in my organizer). I did- John Denver's " Back Home Again". Each time I got to the chorus the people in the bar would join in.
Years later, during the Super Bowl, that scenario played out in one of the commercials... weird- they even used a John Denver song- " Take Me Home, Country Roads".
