I asked the same question just about 10 minutes ago and I feel the same way. I truly feel those centrists deserve a high five for thinking outside their party lines. All ideas should be valued and we should always encourage people to shout out their opinions about issues, not just to bash them. Politics right now is like a dodgeball team where the members are to never change sides.

Read some history of this country and you will find the same thing was going on before the revolution, during the constitutional convention, and afterward until today. We just have better ways to bombard the general pubic with our personal points of view today.

Because the liberals decided that it would be a good idea to criticize everything the republicans do during a period of war. Instead of being supportive, they did everything possible to divide the country. Many of the things they criticize, are things they advocated and voted for. Go figure!!

There wouldn't be so much division if each party would stop trying to convert people to their party that doesn't want to hear it... its just like converting the pope to atheist

Which elections? Are you talking about florida in 2000? Well, tell me why all those democrats voted for republican congressmen in the past elections, just 6 years after you think they voted for kerry?

get over it, he won the elections, and he even won more than 50% of the popular vote (unheard of previously) in the second one.
