It is not nasty and no gross. Some men don't mind sex when a women is menstruating and some women don't mind either. In fact some women find sex more enjoyable at this time of the month. Since you are not comfortable with trying this then just be honest and tell your boyfriend that you are not interested in trying this. If you think you might want to try it be sure to lay a large towel on the bed or wherever you decide to have sex and then enjoy it.

If it's ONLY when you're on your period, he has a bit of a fetish. Some guys are into different things, but that's a little odd. It doesn't mean he's sick, but it's definitely out of the ordinary.
Does it have anything to do with a fear of getting you pregnant? You might want to ask why... he may not have a reason, but it would be worth asking.
Also, let him know that it's a little inconsiderate to you given how little time that is of your monthly cycle and how uncomfortable you seem to be with it.

He could just have a fetish aka liking to have sex when your on your period more then when your not. Or alot of men think that by having sex when the female figure is on her period, its a less possible chance of getting you pregnant, also many think that and they wont have to wear a condom. If you notice men, don't like to wear condoms.
Some women are at their highest chances of getting pregnant when they are having their period.
I agree it is gross and I wouldn't do that on my period but, hon, if you feel like you don't want to, you have all the rights to say no. If he still doesn't listen end the relationship, he don't respect you if he can't respect your NO.

There is nothing wrong with having sex while you are on your period. It's 100% sure way not to get pregnant. It also helps with cramps associated with the period. What sucks about it is the mess but do it in the shower and then clean up is a breeze.

I dont know why some people are so grossed out by that. Aint nothing wrong with it. If you are in a committed relationship. But i think it's a little odd that that is the only time he wants to have sex with you.

ewwwww, ikki, i wont let my bf have sex with me if im on mine for 2 reasons, every thing in my apartment is white and the blood would get every where and thats just gross, i dont even think my bf would even go for that thats like beyond gross, maybe he doesnt want u 2 get pregnant or maybe he has a really sick fetish

well in the bible it says not to have sex with a women on their "unclean" time...aka your period. That is gross dump that loser why wouldnt someone want to have sex when you're just normal! Seems pretty unsanitary to me, can't lie I have done it before too but only in desperate measures and when its virtually over. Tell that freik to leave you alone when you're on the leak!

I think that you are the one with the real problem.
He wants to have sex during your period because he is comfortable thinking that you won't become pregnant. He also doesn't have any problem with the blood of your period, and that's a major compliment to you.

Well, it seems gross, but you ARE less likely to get pregnant if the egg is already gone. I would slap a guy in the face if he wanted to have it then!

He probably just doesn't feel like waiting. I've heard that having sex while menstruating can actually help with cramps (if you can get past the whole "grossness" part). Maybe you could convince him to be sexual with you without having actual intercourse.
