The only way to transfer itunes to another player is to burn them onto a CD and then rip them from that CD. I have tried with both the creative and zune. There is significant sound degradation when that occurs. I have used the zune store, it was pretty easy. another great resource from zune questions is www.zunescene.com

I've heard that the only way to put itunes songs onto a non-iPod is to rip the songs to a CD, then upload the songs from your CD to your mp3 player. I believe that this process automatically removes the DRM (digital rights management) protection of the downloaded song. I may be wrong on this, but I've had zero luck playing itunes videos on my Samsung video mp3 player. My understanding is that, while the itunes protection on songs can be easily removed, the DRM protection on itunes video files (e.g. TV shows, etc.) cannot be easily removed. The video files purchased from itunes can apparently only be played on iPods. This is is why so many people are irritated with Apple and itunes.
