It really depends on what you are looking for in a game. I personally think that the graphics are better on the 360, but, on a whole, the games are much more violent for this console. If you like 1st person shooter games (Gears of War, Halo 2, G.U.N.) you will definitely prefer the 360. There are also more titles available for the 360 as it has been out longer. Some cons to the 360, I would say, are the massive overheating that sometimes takes place with the console and the buggy "disk read errors" that the system tends to have with certain games. This certainly slows down play. Some pros---the online game play is MUCH better as is the ability to network on the 360. The Wii has pretty limited online interaction and really doesn't have the forum to do much of anything online.
Now the pros of the Wii. I find the games to be more fun, and less "dark" and violent. These games also get you out of your seat---literally! Wii Sports, which comes with the Wii is a lot of fun, and really gives you a chance to get up and move around a little! Wii Sports includes Tennis, Bowling, Baseball, Boxing and Golf. You can also take "Fitness Tests" which give you a rating of fitness age based on how you perform various tasks on the system. A nice and unique thing about this system is the controller with nunchuck that can be held a variety of ways to interact with the games---whether it be Wii Sports, Zelda, or Red Steel.
I know it isn't a great answer---but I would say to think about the games you like to play and decide from there. The price tag for the Wii is significantly less for the console and the games run about $20-30 less, but of course, the graphics aren't as good.
If you are more into "fun" games that are more sports oriented, the Wii is for you. If you are more into "shooter" games or online multi-player the 360 is definitely for you.
