Just because one doesn't feel ashamed of his actions doesn't mean he shouldn't be. His defiance right til the end showed the world why this man had to die. He didn't have within his capacity to realize the sins he committed against humanity. He didn't have any remorse in his heart. He had no intention of changing his evil ways because he believed them to be right. As much as I hate to know there is another person burning in hell right now Saddam made his choice.

i think that is the purpose of hood and to make them less afraid
his brother and a former judge were also guilty also two co defendants. the purpose of the hood is to make the death less painful less stressful. since he was not going to admit he was not going to hide his face that why he did that. He was telling everyone that I did not do this crime that I not guily. That why he did that.

Not hiding his face I believe was yet another way for him to think or insinuate his macho-ism. Your right he wasn't the only one guilty, lets hope the others get what they deserve too.
