Because it's very hard to break old habits. There are patterns of behavior that encourage these habits and if one doesn't take the time to consider their other habits and behavior patterns, resolutions do not work. Also, it is nice to have some sort of support system in place before making resolutions and that takes time to consider also. So just make resolutions on sheer will power usually does not work.

Because they only came up with the resolutions to be part of a tradition and not to truly initiate a change.

Because once you call it a resolution, you immediately put it in your mind that you are going to fail anyway, so we eventually give up (at least most of us). But this year, I am going to really give it an honest effort!! Good luck with yours.

maybe poepl arnt ready to do it that night you have to take everything slowley and you have to do it when your ready for instance people who amble and want to stop could call te casino and tell them not to let you in at any casino it your country or also you could try playing free online. thats just an example but whatever your resolution is good luck and your family can help you also.
