Why should people make fun of other people?

♥ I don't think it is right to make fun of other people. Sometimes i catch myself making fun of other people. It's rude that I do that and I end up making people feel bad. But let's face the facts we all at least once in our lives make fun of someone. I wish I could break my habit

Why SHOULD they make fun of another ? They shouldn't.

If question was why DO they. An answer would be that the ones making fun of another . . . the ones making the comment have a sense of insecurity within them and to make fun of another makes them feel more superior or more secure.
