Airwolf was more serious and had more substance to it. Blue Thunder was alot lighter (I mean, it had Dana Carvey in it!). I just recently bought both of them on DVD and I would have to say that Airwolf kept my interest better.

Both were classic 80's shows, and it's nostalgic in a way to watch how people acted (and the hair styles, too).

Air wolf all the way. up till they changed the crew and his brother( who was played by Steve Van Dyke) was running the show.

I liked both series, but Airwolf was the better one (although it went downhill with season 3)
