After all, a reasonable person would assume that this would anger Sunni insurgents, therefore putting coalition troops in harm's way. I remember Hannity vociferously decrying the release of the Abu Ghraib photos because they would incense insurgents. What is his motive NOW for supporting the release of images that would anger Sunni insrgents?

The point, Justin, is that the angrier the Sunni insurgents, the more of a risk they pose to troops. HELLO!

"O", you are adding a red herring to the mix. Besides, I never supported showing decapitations. I consider those snuff videos.

Many Sunnis do not believe that Saddam will never rise to power again in Iraq. They cannot imagine an Iraq where the Sunni's do not have complete control. The Kurds are very fearful that the US will pull out and allow Saddam to regain power.

Showing his dead body will get the message through, that monster will never rule again.

The same reason they should have released dead Elvis pictures. They didn't because Elvis isn't dead!

Sure is will annoy the Sunnis, but it isn't like they were on the thinking about stopping their insurgency anytime soon. Proving that Sadaam is gone drives home the point that there is no going back.

If the pictures were not released, rumors of Sadaam sightings at a hamburger stand in Ohio would be hitting the net within the week.

Because he's from FOX and they want to give Republicans some "good news" to make them sound like this is some sort of victory for their disasterous policies.

Throw another martyr on the fire...or in a noose as the case may be.

o no...we wouldn't want to anger terrorists would we???

afterall.. their cause is so righteous and just an we dont have the capabilites or the desire to stand up for ourselves, eh???

the oly way to confront evil is head on.... the sooner we confront them...the sooner this will be over anyways..

i understand that..... but all you are doing is delaying the inevitable. you don't want to look the issue in the eye. hello!!!!!!!
