Personally, I laugh because in retrospect, he was a big old loser.

my first "love" was my best friend. We knew each other from the time we were 6 years old until I moved away when I was 14. The strange thing is, niether of us realized it until I moved back home a few years later. During our youth we were inseperable, he played Barbie with me, and I played G.I. Joe with him. He was over at my house more than he was at his own lol. The day I left, we both cried. The day I came back I was blindsided by him when I walked into the school. What's strange is after we confessed how we had always felt about each other, it changed our relationship to the point that we didn't want to be together anymore. I look back on it wistfully, because first love is a powerful thing, but I am more than content with my life as it is now.

Oh longingly, longingly. It was 50 years ago and I can recall every moment of the "first time". She was, and hopefully still is, older than me!

I smile. He was a really great guy, and we had a really nice time together in high school. My mom wanted me to marry him! I didn't, and it's a really good thing, because we still keep in touch and he turned out to be a really nice man, but he would drive me crazy! We were good for each other "way back when," but would have been disastrous as husband and wife.

When I look back on most of my previous loves, I laugh....basically, a lot of them are embarassing...and to be honest, I knew it at the time, but I couldn't help myself. It's the magic of it all, I suppose?

Mixed emotions of guys I have known through the years. Some are happy memories, and some I wonder how they are doing, and there are some I wished I'd never met......Such is Life.

Thought the world of my first love,she broke my young heart.Went out with her a few years ago when we bumped into each other.Got my own back,didnt intend to but she wont talk to me now.
