Katt,a wasp and a bee are very different.
1) A bee has an acidic sting, a wasp has an alkali sting.
2) A wasp can sting several times but a bee only once as the sting has a barb and sticks to your skin ,killing the bee.
I would prefer to be a wasp,if I was pi**ed off I could go around stinging people at will and stay alive.

If the question is meant to be a Bee or a Wasp, then its a wasp any time. One flies around with enormous dollops of Nectar on its legs endlessly going from flower to flower. but the other just stings without getting its Ar*e ripped out of its body.

Actually there are 20,000 species of bees and honeybees are the only ones that die after they sting a large mammal. Bumblebees don't, nor all the others. I'd rather be a pepsis wasp called a tarantula hawk. It's pain is the most painful of any known insect and it is so excruciating you wish you were never born. It is black with red wings and is one bad mo fo.

I agree with pop. I'd rather not be a bee. Have to be very selfless and only do stuff for the hive (including work v hard and die). I'm all for community spirit but our genes are not set up for us to be quite that altruistic. Wasps are wonderful fierce little chaps and eat up all the mosquitos so I'm on their side.

A wasp is a type of bee, and you spelled (and worded) your question wrong. So, I'd rather be a bee because a wasp is a bee.

Hope this helps!! :-)
