I am glad to see that justice was finally done. Maybe not a fair trial (because we all knew he was guilty) but a fair verdict and punishment.

Saddam Hussein was never put on trial by America. He committed no crimes against the American people or state.

I'm not sure if he was under trial in the US, I think his status was prisoner of war and he was held by the military. I don't think our judicial system was ever involved except for that last minute denial of a stay of execution. He was caught 2 years ago and only one of his trials was completed when he was hung.

First off i'm glad he got the punishment he deserved. However he never committed crimes against us, he never attacked us. So the world police of america had to invade iraq to arrest a criminal. That should not be our responsibility.

He was never under our judicial system. He was completely in the hands of the Iraqi. all we did was provide him security so the Iraqis wouldn't tear him limb from limb before he had his say in court.

There was justice when he was in that little hole with the rats. Murder is not a form of justice (Matthew 5:37-39)
