Don't hide it, try confronting it. (Sorry if I'm assuming you speak of yourself).

Someone who injures themselves should not be helped to continue to do so. They need to talk to someone. How else will they heal the reason, for which, they are creating physical wounds to their bodies?

I know a lot of people do not believe in God, but I can personally tell you, seeking him has helped me out tremendously. I wish you the best, and may he find a way to enter your life, and heal you inside, and out.

You're worth fighting for yourself, and your well being. God bless you, he loves you, and I love you.

PS. I applaud you for indirectly looking for advice. Advice, that can lead to you being helped. I encourage you to continue to do so. People still care about other people, you know? (If it is not you, pass on the message).

dont hide it!!!!!!!!!!
this is a serious problem for which help is available and required.
by doing this you are harming yourself and it becomes addicting because your body releases a hormone called endorphins when you are feeling pain to make that pain less painful...then you feel as though you are enjoying the pain...like it gives you a good sensation after feeling the pain...if you become addicted to it you will constantly want to harm yourself..and soon it becomes fatal whereas self injusry is a coping mechanism to SURVIVE...a bad mechanism might i add.

for example when you run a long race and are panting and tired and your heart feels like it will pop out, the feeling of satisfaction you get is caused by endorphins...you dont want to get addicted!
there are hotlines you can call if already addicted...but i am telling you from all that i know that you MUST get help for this problem which is very serious....trust me in the end it will make your life worse.
dont do this please, call a crisis hotline, your identity will be kept anonymous and those people are trained to deal with such problems..you wont have to give any info about yourself.

ohh.. i don think there's a way to hide self injury, your outside mood and shape always indicate and describe your inside one, so my advice to u is to get your inside cured ! not to hide your outside cause u wont be able to do!
u know when there's a tree having bad fruit, u cant just cut the fruits off and say the tree will get well soon , although the problem might be coming from the root itself!!
so cut ur problems from the root!

You may have a condition inwhich there is much help available. You need to either visit your family doctor and tell him/her about this self injury or go to the local community mental health agency. they will be able to diagnosis it properly and get you the help you need.
Everyone deserves to live a happy and satisfying life. That includes you.
All the best

Long sleeves, etc.. But why hide it? Nearly all of the self mutilators I know can't wait to share their latest artwork with someone close. Do you have someone who will love you whether or not you bleed? Do you know what your scars mean?
And yes, see your MD!
