This may sound really dumb but is there a program on the computer which can speed up songs because I heard a faster version of a song but I can't find it anywhere and the people 'remixed' it themselves. Thanks xx

windows media player and winamp both give you the ability to increase/decrease the speed of a track

Audacity is a free piece of software that allows you to do this, among many other effects that can be applied. Do a Google search for it.

Hah used to be dead easy on the old record decks, you just used to change the speed that they played it. It was great fun!

Oh man....I want to know too...because somebody speeded up Miss Murder - AFI and I loved it but I can only find it on youtube

i know this doesnt exactly answer your question but when your tired and you listen to a song, it sounds faster. this happens to me alot

why? i dont know.
