Ooh that is such a hot topic with me! I have a disabled brother and I work with disabled kids at an all special needs school and I can't believe the way some people treat people who are different. They act like they aren't even there and just talk around them or walk around them or in front of them. It drives me crazy! Especially now that I have been working with these kids for awhile and you realize that they are so special and that they do have feelings just like anyone else does. Some of the kids, even the more severe ones know when someone is staring at them or talking about them and they get really hurt and upset. That kills me. I think that there should be laws about the way the disabled are treated. Especially in some areas of california. People will outright laugh at other people, straight to their faces and think nothing of it. I wonder how they would feel if they got a ticket right after they laughed? Sorry for the long winded comment! You can tell I feel very strongly about this subject!

The people who make fun of these people are ignorant, and insecure. They have to make fun of someone different to make themselves look good. What they are too stupid to realize is that it only makes them look worse.
