Thanos.
The Mad Titan has held more victories then almost any other villian in Marvel. Yet he has also undone these victories... why? Because he is that powerful. He once weilded all the Infinity Gems (in the form of the Infinity Gauntlet) and wiped out HALF of the UNIVERSE'S living population with a thought. Though he has been defeated many times he is a master tactition, and a powerful godlike being (he is increadibly strong and durable, has powerful TK, weilds comsic enegry, can survive indefinately in space, and is resistant to nearly all psionics). He even stole a mythical item called the Heart of the Universe that made him so powerful no cosmic being, even the Living Tribunal (who is the supreme power in Marvel; his word is law, if the Tribunal says it then it will be so) was dismissed with a glance. After this Thanos remade the Universe with him as the sole cosmic power... and found the victory hollow. So he returned the cosmos to their rightful order and destroyed the Heart, stripping himself of power and nullifing his achievement.
So Thanos would be the baddie I'd be, if only for the power and ambition.

I’m going way back, to the sixties, here. Most of you have probably never heard of the Composite Superman, but he kicked BOTH Superman’s AND Batman’s butts! He was Joe Meach, the janitor at the Superman museum. In a freak accident, he got super powers from the statuettes of the Legion of Super Heroes. He had ALL their powers, which means he was as fast, strong and invulnerable as Supergirl, Ultra Boy and Mon-El put together! He could grow, shrink, triplicate himself, shoot lightning, heat rays, bounce around, eat anything, change his shape and form, and had a 12th level genius mind! He could read minds, make things light or heavy and lots more!
His right side looked like Superman, and his left side looked like Batman, except that his face was green, like that of Brainiac 5. He had the most ridiculous costume ever, but he was the most powerful enemy that S&B ever fought.
He harbored resentment for Superman and Batman, and decided to challenge them, pretending to be friendly at first, just to humiliate them. Then, when he turned serious, they realized that he meant to take over not only the world, but the entire solar system. If he his charge of powers had not worn off, he would have killed Superman and Batman.
I’d rather be a good guy, but can you imagine…? Having the powers of the ENTIRE Legion…?

Mystique
Mystique is a mutant shapeshifter whose natural appearance includes blue skin and yellow eyes. She is over 100 years old, having claimed during her solo series "I wasn't born yesterday or even last century." That puts her birthdate sometime in the 19th century.[citation needed] She was the biological mother and foster mother of the future X-Men Nightcrawler and Rogue, respectively. She was forced to abandon Nightcrawler, but raised Rogue for a number of years and the two now have mixed feelings towards one another.
Throughout most of her history, Mystique has been a villain, leading the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and assassinating several important non-mutant persons involved in mutant affairs. However, she recently worked on behalf of the X-Men's Professor X in a short-lived eponymous series and was provisionally voted into the X-Men.

Sub-Mariner, for his sheer arrogance. I love the way he would disdainfully call humans "Surface dwellers."
He had the gall to his on the ever hot Sue Storm right in front of the rest of the Fantastic Four.
Plus he had the Mr. Spock thing going on before their was a Mr. Spock,
