Novel- True literature, and usually has more pages than your average book.

Memoir- The story of someone's life at a specific time. Example: A story written about the time you lived on the streets... A memoir isn't exactly an autobiography, because an autobiography is about the author's life. A memoir is about a certain point in their life.

Book- A book can be a picture book, chapter book, puzzle book, anything!

I hope I helped!

A novel (from French nouvelle Italian "novella", "new") is an extended, generally fictional narrative in prose.
A memoir is an account of the personal experiences of an author. An autobiography. A biography or biographical sketch.
A book is a set of written, printed, or blank pages fastened along one side and encased between protective covers.

So, both novels and memoirs are books....novels are usually fiction, memoirs are true.

A novel is a new book based on the latin word "nova" which means new. A memoir I think might be a lot like an autobiography but I'm not sure. I don't think I have to explain what a book is though, lol.
