I have an Aloe Vera Plant and some of the limbs have wilted and turned very dark and I am assuming it is because I left it out in the cold weather, now in the middle of it is very green and pretty and my question is can I clip the dark wilted pieces off or what and what do I need to do to take better care of my plant so I can prevent from this happening again?? HELP!

aloes are classified as succulents, thick bodied plants with lots of water in them, so they can not tolerate freezing temps. Yes, clip off the dying stalks, it won't harm it.
Always let the soil dry out before watering again, as they are a desert plant and hate overwatering. And of course aloe gel is good for burns.

Yes you can clip off the wilted parts. Depends on where you live in how you take care of it, my mom and I live in Texas and she keeps hers in the ground. But if you are up north, you may want to reset it in a big enough pot and bring it in doors when the weather is freezing. When they predict freeze here we cover our plants. Keep in mind they grow really big, and if you have it in a pot it will need to keep getting changed as it grows. :) Hope this helps

Yes you can prune the dark wilted pieces off and you might want to re pot it. Loosen the roots to wake it up and make sure it is not root bound.
