As others have suggested, go with Linksys, they might be 5-10 dollars more, but you get what you pay for in terms of features, ease of use, support. If just wired go with BEFSR41, if wireless too then go with WRT54G.

Linksys and netgear make good low cost routers.
The important thing is that is supports at least
WPA. Better would be WPA2 though. The WRT
series should be something within your price range of
"reasonable". It's sturdy has a good range,
doesn't cause much trouble andsupports WPA
encryption.

Edit: More expensive routers usually offer additional
features. I.e. VPN tunnels, can act as a print or storage
server. Or they have more memory.
Most low cost routers have hardly enough memory
to run their OS. It's usually not enough to dish out
quality services for more than a handful of computers.

Hey Dude,

Reasonable price and functional usually do not belong in the same sentence.

For my money, Linksys WRT54G or WRT54GS do it for me.

My favorite is Linksys, mostly because it is easy to set up and maintain and it is very configurable.

AirLink. But see what you can find on eBay in the way of LinkSys.
