Hi Guys,
Any of you out there know much about the BT home hub, I have had hell in all probs with my calls being routed via my home landline, samething happened to my voyager 2500, on reconfiguring my last hub, my second from BT all lights lit up including the data light which didnt work on last 2 until I reconfigured it. Bt sent me another hub, my 3rd, and as I was very ill I wasnt able to fit it untill today when I felt better. I looked at my bt account online and my calls are still going through my landline account and chargeable, bt threatened me a few weeks ago that they will no longer refund me if any calls go via my landline, I have kept a careful eye on my hub sinceI reconfigured it, all ligths worked, and the high pitch tone was sounding every time but its not going via my internet. So today I installed my 3rd hub which is my 5th router since 25th April this year when I started to use the net. All sofar is fine apart from the data light which is not lighting, any idea guys?

Reset the home hub, make sure your hub phone is connected to the spare phone connection on the rear of the home hub.and make sure you have broadband talk activated and set up,you will get a seperate number and this iS the number you use to make a recieve callls thru your home hub, these calls will not go onto your normal bt landline number.they will be seperate.AND included in your broadband talk package

i assume you're utilising BT and characteristic the BT instantaneous connection application which whilst activated searches for available connections and lists them against each router in the checklist is a padlock locked or unlocked. With success your is the only homehub in the checklist and has the padlock locked meaning that's risk-free through the 'wep' code yet in any different case is to place your pointer over the relationship sign -icon- backside precise and it will teach which router you're related to and no count if that's wep risk-free constantly verify this in case you have related to somebody elses unprotected router precise click in this icon opens the instantaneous connection programme allowing you to hook up with a router of your determination
