Saddam Husein was a very bad man. Killed his own men. Killed many in war. He was a dictator. Good boys gone wild some say.

Wow that a really deep question. I am so sure you will receive colorful feedback. I know there was a lot of evil in him, through his actions and words. I hope maybe some good. For the sake of humanity I hope there was a little bit of goodness. Part of me feels wrong to hope for anything more than the evilness he portrayed, but he was human. As far as I know,he died the same as any man would have. It is a bit chilling that even seconds before death he appeared to hold strong to his beliefs of the world. I hate to think of evil in a person so deep. I am relieved to hear of his death, for the Iraqi people who may rest a little easier,but it still makes me a little uneasy. There is still evil in our world.

If you think ordering the execution of your own two son-in-laws and countless number of innocent civilians is bad, then yeah, the dude was evil. If you think otherwise, then hey, thank God we live in a free country.

DEBATABLE question, Some people think that he was a GOOD man others think that he was a BAD BAD MAN ! Those who think are mostly MUSLIMS. I am a muslim too but i don`t know weather he was a bad man or not but only thing is that i am ashamed of these kind of people who put a BAD IMPRESSION of MUSLIMS on the world. I would be glad to answer questions and resolve problems of people who think MUSLIMS are TERRORISTS. I beleive in PEACE and UNITY. It`s these EXTREMISTS that have MADE the MUSLIMS look as TERRORISTS !

Yes but there's plenty of others who are just as bad who got away with it. Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Robert Mugabe, Augusto Pinochet. What about Uncle Joe Stalin?

EVIL, hell he had children murdered, what can a child do against him??? It was because they were Kurds and Shites. Women were raped and then killed. He killed his own sons-in-law because they went against him and when he promised them no retaliation, they went back to Iraq and then he had them murdered. He killed thousand of innocent people because they didn't bow down to his demands. He was VERY EVIL!!!

I don't know about him as a father and husband, but for the man who had thousands upon thousands of people beaten, tortured and killed, in my books, that doesn't make him a good man.
