Hi. Wondering about colognes/perfumes for sensitive individuals.
My wife says I sometimes have body odor, but whenever I put on colognes I quickly develop a dreadful headache, so I really hate to use them. Also some of her perfumes give me headaches! I have bad allergies. Are there any good fragrances that people with allergies can use? Can you suggest any brands, etc?

I have severe migraines that are triggered by different scents, especially perfumes and colognes. I also have allergies. The best approach is to know what base notes you like as in citrus type smells, fruity, spicy scents etc. Because of my condition, I have to stay away from all perfumes and colognes and just get my "smell good" from my soap. Carefully pick out a soap and even shower gels that you can use that have more of a lasting scent but that are still pleasing to you--no sense in smelling great to your wife, but having an allergy attack or having a headache. There are items that are "labeled" as "fragrance-free" that will have a very high orange smell because it is natural, so you have to be careful and allow your nose to guide you. Make sure you are using a good deodorant, if you can tolerate Johnson's baby powder--sprinkle some of that on after you shower--just the regular kind. I like products from The Body Shop--the satsuma might not be bad for you if you are into citrus, nut is really good for all around. Good luck!!
