i think it's a wonderful name. I have had two very good friends named Amy, and both of them had the same "don't mess with me" "ill give it to you straight" attitude. We had even put it on our list if we had a girl the last time.

There is nothing wrong with the name but i wouldn't want to name a kid that now in this time. Amy is an older like name you know what i mean.

There is nothing bad about the name Amy....I have a sister named Aimee...It is just a commonly used name!....I promise to you there is nothing wrong with that name....Why in the world would you think there was something wrong with your name for?....

The name is too common for my taste. Plus the fact that every Amy I ever new I never liked.

I have a couple friends with that name. But their parents choose different spellings:
Ami, Aimee. If you are looking for something a little different try different spellings, Amie, Amey.

It's a cute name but to boring of a name(I like longer names, not names that just have like 3 or 4 letters)

Ok, Maybe I'm not from your country, so your name is very diffrent from our countries' , but I must say it's a very beautifull name. What if it's common? If it's for a new-born, it's good coz she cand be like goth, or not like so girly and it's good name, and she can be normal girl, sweet name. If it's yours, be proud of it!
