Why did you get a divorce and how long did it take for you to realize that you should get one?

Its a hard decision and not one to be taken lightly. But everyone is different some people know right away and others take months or years to come to that determination.
But the Legal time depends on several factors like "do you have children?", The number of assets to be divided, Is there a Home that will be sold exc.
Divorces can be done in 30 days, 6 months or over a year depending on the circumstances.

6 months before the final bye and then $50 to file and $300 for the divorce 90 days from file to freedom

My ex is the most appropriate person to tell. She started complaining about dull empty people around three years ago, then indulged her self in an intelectual affair overseas, and finaly asked for divorce and got it last month. She is now with hear intelectual love.

If you have a fighting spouse, the divorce can go for ever. I have been in court for 6 years. There is no end in sight !

I'm still in the process. I filed in September 2005 and I'm still going. I have kids and property. That always takes forever to settle. My ex is an alcoholic thats why I quit.
