I read it, I thought it had some good points but it was very boring. Its telling you how to have an effective life and how to get certain things. Its more like a book of guidance. I dont think it makes any one a better person. It just helps you in a few different areas if you are confused. I think a better book than this one for teens is called "What teens need to succeed." Its not as boring to read and is a lot more helpful and informative.

I took a class on Covey's " The 7 habits of highly effective people" and it made me wish I could have read it much sooner. After the class it encouraged me to borrow the book from the library for myself. I only wished I was introduced to this sooner. I think it's great that he wrote a self help for the younger generation as well. I think it's definitely worth it to begin good habits at an early age rather than wait and have to teach old dogs new tricks!

I read it when I was 17 and I really benefited from it. It taught me to focus on the things I can change in my life, not the stuff I cannot change. I also learned how I can control my reaction to situations, even if I cannot control the situation.
I think he now has a book out specifically for teens.
