Seems awful, but at the same time necessary. If they didn't video-tape it (FOR PROOF) then the victims and their families wouldn't believe it was carried out and we would have a whole new circle of problems. It is sad to think the world has gotten so out of hand that seeing a person hung on TV is what the Public wants. Sad but we have to accept the reality of it, and the reality is it was in fact necessary.

it is disrespectful. BUT necessary. The citizens in Iraq need proof. Remember when the rumor of Osama being dead went around? It turned out to be a hoax, but if there was proof the world would be a lot different.

It is, but he also taped some of his victims being hung. We need to remember he killed 148 people in the 1980's. (from what we know) He has done so much to the human race.

No, it would not have been wrong to tape my hanging. It would have proven to the world and my followers, especially, that I was a martyr.

It's stupid! ...i don't agree with what this man did but yet there are many people like him who are doing wrong and getting a way with it and that starts with all those presidents who think war is the answer to solve problems!

No. Because if you see that kind of thing it will make you think twice about committing a crime if the punishment for your crime is that.

I think it is wrong to hang crims, but it has to be shown as a deterrent to other aggressive nations and leaders..

I was just about to post exactly the same question.

I do not think any body's death should be published. Dictator or not. I don't even believe in death penalty..
